PARENT'S VIEWS
'A massive thank you to everyone at Peckham Rye Gardens. My son Tommy has been attending for a year now and I've noticed how much he has thrived since he first started.
He settled in very quickly and always finished nursery with a big smile on his face.
We received daily updates which always showed new educational, fun activities for the children to get involved in.
My son has learnt so much in the last year and I can only thank all the staff for their wonderful, caring and dedicated support.
You will all be missed ❤'

'My son has been at Rye Garden Day nursery for nearly 3 years and I feel very lucky to have found the nursery. The manager is incredibly experienced and the small setting means that we've really got to know each member of staff and care is based on each individual child. The staff seem to genuinely enjoy their job and care for the children. The standard of learning is also high and my son surprised me by recognising the full alphabet before he turned 3 - which I believe is due to the high level of teaching at the nursery - learning which is made fun. The nursery have also be incredibly supportive and flexible over the past difficult year we have all had.'

'Teo started attending the nursery from eight months until he was three and a half years old. Teo felt very confident and comfortable straight from the beginning. The tender attention he got from the his carers was exceptional. As parents we always felt safe and looked after with our needs and schedules. We particularly liked that it is a small nursery, in which the children get plenty of attention, the green outdoor space the nursery provides and the time the children get to play freely outside. Teo learnt greatly through play and the curriculum adapted for every stage. Crafts and story telling was a strong method for the children to express themselves and learn in creative ways. The transition from the infant to the toddler room was smooth and conducted very carefully. Teo still has fond memories of his time at Rye Garden, we often look through the wonderfully crafted books with photos and notes regarding his development. The friendships he made created meaningful bonds, which we still nourish and created a strong support network for parents.'

My 2 children attended Rye Garden day nursery from the age of 8months until starting school. My eldest also took advantage of the wrap around care they provide for her first year at school.
They both loved going to nursery and still want to go back and visit. I particularly liked that it is a small nursery with a low turnover of staff, so my kids & I knew all the staff well. I also liked that they focused on taking the children to play outdoors under the trees In their enclosed garden, which felt to the kids like being in the woods, as often as possible.
The teaching skills at the nursery were great, so although the kids didnt think they were in lessons both my kids had no problems progressing to reading once they started school.
Overall I highly recommend Rye Garden Day Nursery to all local parents.
